Coop-Kenya is proud to directly organize awareness event throughout the year to support different causes :

For example, in 2017 we organized the biggest critical mass of Kisumu, having more than 200 riders in the CBD. we also hosted the Kisumu visual artist first exhibition in our compound or dealt with several women’s groups and their access to mobility….

Bikeventures Kenya is Kisumu based Social Entreprise supporting the bicycle projects of CooP-Kenya. Bikeventures Kenya offers mountainbike rental, cycling tours and accommodation. All profits of rentals, tours, accommodation are allocated tot the bicycle projects of CooP-Kenya.

Bikeventures Kenya also organises monthly events to support the bicycle projects of CooP-Kenya. Returning activitities are:

Sunday Fun Ride– Every last Sunday of the month Bikeventures Kenya organises a free fun ride for everyone with a monthly changing theme.

Rafiki Wednesday’s– Bring a friend to Bikeventures and rent two seven-gear Tembo City Bikes for KES 1,500 (normal price KES 2,000)

Bikeathon – Annually Bikeventures organises the Bikeathon. A challenging multi-day fundraiser.
